Since February, I've had the privilege of working with PARK (Promoting Artists; Redefining Kulture) as a volunteer marketing coordinator. It has been a lot of hard work and late nights, but I have honestly loved every minute of it. I love the PARK team and the fact that the work I do for them actually challenges me and helps me grow. Everyone on the team also kills it fashion-wise and it's really made me realize that I need to step up my game.
Last Saturday we put on our first huge event of the year - PARKSHOW, an art and fashion show intended to showcase up-and-coming designers from Canada as well as a local artist. The location for the show was Chinook Centre's North Parkade. We literally spent 24 hours converting the vast, empty space into a beautiful venue with an art tunnel, runway, pop-up shops, and a VIP lounge. It was crazy. I'm so proud I got to be part of it.
As part of my duties for the event I got to take some pictures - to see the whole set, click HERE.
